Here are some pictures from Alex's first trip to the beach , in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. By all accounts he's a beach babe, considering the smiles, leg kicking and all round giggling during our visit. We even took a mini dip in the ocean and Alex felt the waves splashing over his little toes. 
The water temperature was around 30 degrees c, so he's going to get a rude shock if he thinks all beaches are that temperature.The only small problem with a visit to the beach seems to be the sun, so for now at least it's full length swim suit, sun hat and BIG umbrella all the way.
