The majority of head-scratching (done by me) around a kids birthday stems from the age old question regarding kid-presents. Do we super-spoil him by letting him open them all-at-once, on the day that the present-givers intended to them to be given? Or, do we intervene. Cruelly and methodically snatching the presents from the pressie table before Alex's little peepers have peeped them. Thus, pro-longing the joy of receiving by drip-feeding them to him over the course of the proceeding months.
Sometimes, sneakily offering the pressies up as reward for doing his chores and going to bed on-time. Well, this is a present from Nana B two weeks on, with Aunty Sians present opening vid soon to follow.
